May 17th, 2008 - DIANETICS ANNIVERSARY EVENT A BIG SUCCESS!

Baton Rouge Scientologists gathered for the 58th annual Dianetics Anniversary Event.  This event featured a film demonstrating the ever-expanding reach of Dianetics internationally as well as the kick-off of the new Dianetics website - www.dianetics.org

The event is now re-showing daily at 7:00 at the Baton Rouge Mission!

You're invited to the Dianetics Anniversary Event, May 17th at 3:00.  Fifty-eight years ago, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health was the bolt from the blue that started it all.  It started a movement that is now growing faster than ever.  RSVP - 225-928-7804. 

February 12th, 2008 - The Church of Scientology Mission of Baton Rouge, in partnership with "Catfish, Grits, and Politics" and the Louisiana Eagles Semi-Pro Football Team, are proud to offer free tutoring for all children grades 2 - 11, particularly those failing their LEAP and GEE tests.  The Church of Scientology of Louisiana is dedicated to improving the literacy of all youth in the state.

Tutoring is every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. until March 8th.

February 25th, 2007 - Baton Rouge's Scientology Volunteer Ministers Deliver THE WAY TO HAPPINESS to New Orleans

Baton Rouge Scientology Volunteer Ministers traveled down to the Ninth Ward Sunday to distribute hundreds of THE WAY TO HAPPINESS books into the hands of those who needed it most.  The church has already distributed THE WAY TO HAPPINESS to over 5% of the New Orleans population, and intends to continue with distribution throughout the year.  THE WAY TO HAPPINESS has a successful track record of calming any area it is distributed into.

Alex Manuel, Volunteer Minister, distributes The Way to Happiness and Solutions to a Dangerous Environment booklets to school children in the Ninth Ward.

Craig Gehring and Freda Cupa went down to Kenner, Louisiana and started a Spanish Dianetics Study Group.  This group will study Dianetics and use its techniques on one another to become CLEAR!  There are thousands of Dianetics groups all around the world using L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics techniques to live healthier, happier lives.
